1.   finding a brothers/ sisters rep from each uni.

2.   keep all reps up to date and organise attendance to all meetings

3.   find new universities to take part in the project

4.   campus tours to find people who are interested via Isoc’s

ROLE 4 CHARITY WEEK 2010 SCHOOLS/COLLEGES REP COORDINATORS: (x2/3) Minimum 1 Brother and Sister

1.   finding a brothers/ sisters rep from each school/college.

2.   find new schools and colleges to take part in the project

3.   campus tours to find people who are interested via Isoc’s

4.   Look for events (revision events, university open days) where you will be able to find people from variety of schools and colleges to promote the project to them.

5.   keep all reps up to date and organise attendance to all meetings

- ICEBREAKER; Introduction to everyone! (5 mins) - Charity Week Project Vision. (5 mins) - Short Introduction to roles which are available and what tasks they entail. (10 mins) - Give everyone the chance to show what role they are interested in, why and what skills will mean they are good at this. (10 mins) - Decide on everyone's roles. (5 mins) - Availability (provide exam period dates) and commitment to the project. (5 mins) - Members of the same teams to exchange details to start deciding on how they will initiate activity. - Finish

Friday Update:

- The established members of the team now stand as Hammad Ahmed, Syed Owais and Reba Haque(currently ill, please pray for her wellbeing).

- Previous event was the feedback summit. This went well as we received a lot of feedback which has now been put together (other than from Atif). The turnout was not good on the brothers side unfortunately. We also managed to get a couple of contacts who wished to help out and be part of CW team although these were mainly not the ones we targeted (09 reps). Finance for the event still needs to be sorted out.

- For the past week, the team of 3 has been working on putting together the basic plan for CW2010. All the roles which are available have now been confirmed and are being publicised on the forum, fb and on mailing lists. People who have expressed interest in being on the team have been contacted and currently 5 of these are confirmed for attendance on the next event. The preparation also included putting together a weekly plan of what tasks are to be completed with deadlines for the first month. The rest only contains very important dates and is incomplete. - For the coming week, the plan is to concentrate on Wed 10th monthly circle. In the circle, the Charity Week team meeting time will be used to brief all new attendees to the project and ask them to take up roles within th team. All new members will be asked to familiarise themselves with their sub team members, exchange details to start discussing their own roles and the division of workload after the meeting.

The National team are currently awaiting proposals from Islamic Relief as to which projects to fund with CW 2009 money. At the same time, we would ask that each CW rep on campus makes every effort to ensure that buckets/ pennyboxes are returned asap and all payment slips are sent to your regional rep.
